On Jan 27, 2003, European Union officially published Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE-2002/96/EC) and Directive on the Restriction of the Use of certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoSH-2002/95/EC). RoSH Directive requires: from July 1,2006, the electrical and electronic equipment contained 6 kinds of hazardous substances of Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr6+, PBB & PBDE will be prohibited to be sold in the market of European Union.
